And the rivers with the ocean;
The winds of heaven mix forever,
With a sweet emotion;
No thing in the world is single;
All things by a law divine

See! the mountains kiss high heaven,

百花相親相愛(ài)，
共享和煦春光。
陽(yáng)光擁抱大地，
月色親吻海浪;
如果你不吻我，
一切都是荒唐。
西方人求愛(ài)的方式有時(shí)會(huì)無(wú)所不用其極, 為達(dá)到愛(ài)的'目的, 可以不擇手段, 理智往往會(huì)讓位于感情。
在這首詩(shī)中, 為了求愛(ài), 詩(shī)人動(dòng)用了風(fēng)、花、日、月、山川、海洋等萬(wàn)事萬(wàn)物甚至天意來(lái)證實(shí)兩人相愛(ài)的必然, 大氣磅礴之中也就顧不得許多思辨的常理。這理性的邏輯雖然荒唐, 可這非理性的真情卻能打動(dòng)人心。這也許就是詩(shī)人心中的愛(ài)的哲理吧。
基于原作意趣, 譯作要求詞句簡(jiǎn)潔明了, 節(jié)奏輕快急促, 語(yǔ)氣堅(jiān)定坦率, 音韻爽朗響亮。
